Learn About Dental Implants
Dental implants are useful in a variety of circumstances. Essentially, a dental implant replaces a missing tooth or missing teeth. Dental implants are more flexible than dentures or other alternatives and with Biomet 3i implants, we can even place them in places with low bone density.
Our dental implants bring you better oral health and are long-lasting. With proper maintenance, dental implants function practically like your natural teeth as they fit into your mouth and maintain teeth position and general oral health.
We recommend dental implant treatment if you are missing a tooth or if you have teeth that are broken or decayed beyond repair. Leaving these unhealthy teeth in your mouth can do damage to the rest of your mouth and negatively impact your overall oral health, but dental implants offer a durable solution.
Our office prioritizes your comfort and keeps you fully informed throughout the process. We share the benefits of implants with you, as well as discuss the alternatives, such as dentures, partial dentures, or a bridge. Our team helps you select the procedure that best suits your particular situation.
We strive to use 3i dental implants whenever possible. These dental implant services generally take place over two visits — the first around an hour long and the second about 30 minutes. Both visits only require a local anesthetic. We’ll work to make you as comfortable throughout your time in our office.
